AAL - Sampling the Movement

An audiovisual performance developed within AGON Action Lab, exploring the relationship between movement, percussion and live electronics. Motion tracking, live video and sound processing turn the performer’s gestures into material for musical and visual composition.

Notes

Live percussion enters into dialogue with multi-camera video, movement analysis and prerecorded choreographic gestures. Electronic processing extends the sounds and musical figures produced on stage, creating feedback between the performer, the images and the participating electronic musicians.
