Teaching and artistic practice develop together

Teaching as exchange

  • Listening
  • Dialogue
  • Individual language

Everyone has their own language. Michele Tadini approaches composition as an exchange, supporting each student in finding a personal musical language and a relationship with the act of creating.

For Michele Tadini, teaching is inseparable from artistic practice. It is a reciprocal process: what is shared with students returns through discussion, discovery and the encounter between different generations and musical experiences.

His work across composition, electronics and theatre informs an approach that does not prescribe an aesthetic and respects different sensibilities and ways of making music. Cooperation between disciplines creates room for that exploration.

“Encourage and support each student in developing their own language and their own relationship with the act of creating.”
Michele Tadini
