Found in Translation

Found in Translation is something of a manifesto for the way I make music.

A meeting point between the passion and emotion of making music and the depth of writing and conception. A meeting point that brings together algorithmic generation, hands on the keyboard and spontaneous invention.

I have put my whole self into it, my many roots no longer afraid to emerge: formalized and written music, rock (progressive and otherwise), jazz, early music, fusion and, fundamentally, electronics in all its forms.

A constant search for the relationship between the immediacy of listening and the complex artifice of writing.

Music you can follow on first hearing but that never repeats itself — music continually composed and renewed. Music of moods, images and storytelling. And perhaps above all, a journey in which the path matters, certainly not the destination.
